Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure performed to treat and save a tooth that is heavily infected or damaged. Pulp tissue is the soft, sensitive and vital part inside the tooth root that contains blood vessels and nerves, serving as the lifeline and sensory system of the tooth. Root canal treatment involves removing the infected or injured pulp tissue from the inside of the tooth, disinfecting the root canal system, and then filling and sealing it to prevent further infection.
Retaining natural teeth is of utmost importance as they provide essential functions for chewing and eating, contribute to clear speech and pronunciation, maintain the health and structure of the jawbone and facial appearance, support dental alignment and stability, enhance confidence and self-esteem through an attractive smile, and promote overall oral and systemic health.
One of our primary aims is to comprehensively assess if your tooth is suitable for long-term endodontic treatment and to develop a treatment plain tailored to your unique needs.
